It's back! MGFreedom & the MGCC F-Register are happy to announce the return of the Scottish Weekend run.

The 'Freedom of Scotland' run replaces the popular 'Highlander' event that has run successfully for the last 10 years. Following a similiar format but with greater geographical freedom to cover more of our beautiful country, the Freedom run will be based in the lovely market town of Peebles in the Scottish Borders for 2009.

It will be a three night event starting on Friday the 25th September. We will convene for dinner at the hotel on the Friday evening. On the Saturday and Sunday we will have organised tours to a suitable lunch venue followed by a leisurely drive back to the hotel taking in some of the area's beautiful scenery. On the Monday, for those who do not need to dash off first thing, we will offer a shorter trip to a place of interest and then after lunch go our seperate ways.

The hotel we have chosen for our base is the Tontine Hotel www.tontinehotel.com

There is limited availablility so early booking is essential to avoid disappointment. We have negotiated a special rate of £55 per person per night for dinner, bed & breakfast. All bookings to be made direct with the hotel. Ask for Susan on 01721 720892
