History

MG-Freedom was established in June 2008 by a group of friends and enthusiasts who enjoy getting out and about in their MG roadsters.

As we enter our third year, the group has gone from strength to strength. Our monthly pub meets are now very well attended and we always have a good banter. The monthly runs have continued to be supported and many new members have joined our ranks.
We have started to organise camping weekends at some of the major shows around Scotland in the summer months and August 2010 saw our first continental foray with 'Ecosse 3000', a round trip of 3000 miles through France and back.

It was considered that to become a sub group of the MG Car Club's F-Register would serve the interests of the new Freedom group by allowing us greater exposure to MG enthusiasts and for the Legal, insurance and technical back up provided by the MGCC.
